My team, John Seger Architects, and I are local to the North Shore. I grew up in Manchester, and went to Memorial School. I picked up my penny candy from from Floyd’s on my walk home, and I still refer to Manchester as my ‘hometown’.
I care about what happens in this town, preserving its character, and making the right progress in the right places. I’m a small business owner and independent developer who takes on small to medium sized projects only if I believe they are a worthwhile improvement to the property and surrounding area.
All of my work revolves around preservation and adaptive reuse of historic buildings such as The Granary. My team and I have won a few preservation and other awards such as the work to reuse and preserve the Joshua Ward House in Salem.
Personally, I believe in family, doing the right thing, and leaving things better than when you found them. I hope you agree that The Granary project is a unique, fitting, and singular opportunity to make Manchester a little better.
